Default 3D camo: Best bang for your... well, you know

There are a lot of 3D camo suits out there. I'm trying to get one for a decent price that will also hold up well. I've heard some of the cheaper ones lose leaves easily, especially when you wash them. I've also heard that some of them are pretty noisy. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good 3D camo value?

Do you plan on walking around with it on or are you going to use it for a stationary concealment? If you are going to stalk with it on, those leafy suits look pretty good, but it will suck if you hunt in thick cover. If you are going to be stationary, a synthetic camo net is a good option, and stores easily. Setup is easy, just connect it to some bushes, put in some branches and you are ready to go. It is very compact in a pack as well.

I would go with the ASAT 3D suit. I just replaced mine last year after over 10 years of use. I have actually TUCKED on the leaves of the suit and couldn't tear them off. VERY durable!

3-D suits have always cracked me up - IMHO, they don't work any-better at breaking up the human outline. Try a pattern like Intrusion Treeline, Predator, or ASAT if you want good camo! The leafy stuff is for the "human" factor. You move away from it and at a distance it doesn't offer any advantage!
