1...2...3...BANG
Well second weekend of the season here in MO and the birds weren't gobbling too hard after they left the roost. Luckily though, me and my buddy stuck it out and landed a double on Sunday morning.
We only heard two gobbleson the dense foggy morning, but the second alerted us to a gobbler that was close to our position. A few soft calls later and we were delighted to see 2 awesome Toms come in. On three both fell and we retrieved our nearly identical birds.

11" beard
1 1/4" Spurs
Buddys Bird

11" beard
1 1/4" spurs
These are both are biggest birds ever and to take them at the same time was incredible. We may never top this hunt again.
