Do deer prefer to eat standing old corn or cut soybeans just wondering because where i hunt next year will be soybeans and the property next to it will be corn I was just wondering which place will be more productive towards the rut. The beans will be cut but the corm will not. Thanks in advance.

They'll tear up the beans til the leaves start to brown-I understand they get bitter then.Soybean is a high-protein food and the deer will focus on them. When they brown, they'll hit the corn.

JimPic hit it right on the nose Deer love beans, but when they turn brown they will definitely hit the corn. But the corn should be cut before the beans turn brown. I don't know how it is where you live but in my neck of the woods that is how it goes.
