I know you can plant food plots in the fields, but is there anything you can actually plant inside the woods to attract deer? Any ideas?

Not without 4+ hours of sunlight. If you can open up the canopy a bit to let sunlight in you can grow anything.

Gotta agree there. You can't grow anything without sun light.

kybuck this is my first year to use it. Mine gets about 2hrs or so a day and in about 7 days its about 3/4 of an inch with 2 good rain days. I just racked leaves back and scored the ground with rack and then turned rake over to brush over to cover it. I use a bag of pellet lime also. Hope this helps and good luck.
