Anyone know of a website with deer hunting forecasts for the upcoming season? Preferably a forcast for Texas. I'm bored at work and looking for stuff to read to keep me from going insane. Thanks.

I'm not sure what it's going to be like in Texas but up here in Manitoba we've been getting lots of rain this spring and early summer. I read an article awhile back and it stated that these rains during the early formation of antlers is very important to the over all growth of the racks. Even though our winter was rather long this yearI've already seen, while scouting, 6 does with twins and one with triplets. For the size of the calves most must have dropped early this year. I think that is also a good sign.
