Just a quick somewhat comical story.

I deliver newspapers early in the morning everyday. I deliver mostlt to all the backroads and always see tons of deer. Anyway, this morning I'm driving through the city at the end of my route and there is about a 120lb doe standing in the middle of my lane. I stopped and waited about 2 minutes for her to move. She ran across the street and proceeded to watch me sitting there in my truck. I started calling her like a dog (whistling, etc.) and she started to come right over to me. A car came buy and spooked her before she got all the way over but I sure would've liked to what she would have done! Maybe she would have asked for a ride since there weren't any woods for about 2 miles or so.

My sister lives in a small town in NY, Her and Her husband like to go for walks every evening. Well one night they were out walking and a doe came right up to them, my sister told the doe to come back tomorrow and she would give it some crackers(her husband and her laughed) then they walked away. Well the next night they went for a walk and my sister took crackers, you quessed it the deer showed back up they even got to pet it. They don't know what happend to the deer it showed up a couple more times and then disapeared.

Boy some of these deer are really getting domesticated. It's almost scary.
