Hunting from a stand is (one) option to hunt deer. You have a choose.
Try hunting from a blind or try stocking for starts. It's simple, if you want to get a good chance at getting a deer you need to either stay put, or move with care.
Other members have advised,comfort,this does help. On the other hand no matter what enjoy you'er suroundings. Listen, watched and Learn.
