I bought one this season, after talking with a friend that used one.
The doe in estrus bleat. I was told to simply roll the can and repeat this every so often.

I did this and did infact get a response. Just never saw the deer?

It can also be used to grab the attention of a deer spotted but walking away. Roll the can a few times, slowly.

Let us know if you have any luck or what you experience.

Good luck and safe hunting!

I use the call and it works very well. I called in numerous bucks this year and shot one, as well as my dad, and my friend. Use the call during the pre-rut, I have never had any luck with it other then during pre-rut. Good Luck.

i bought the primo's can and was very impressed. saw two deer going through heavy stuff and had no clean shot. covered the hole on bottom and turned it over three times and the deer came running out to present a perfect broadside shot. two other friends used them also and it produced another doe and an 8 point. i think they work great.

I have a primos can call. Ive had it for two years. I sit in these bales of hay on the ground during the rut. I sit between 2 woods and across the creek from a 150 acer weed field. There are lots of big bucks. And what i do is i hit my can call 3 times then i wait a few minutes i blow my grunt call 3 times and i look different ways when i blow the grunt call. This really works. I have called in lots of bucks. On night i called in 7 bucks within 50 yards. To test and see if this works i sat in that spot without using any calls i didnt see a thing. So i guess it really does work. Let me know if u try this and i hope u have some luck.

I used the Primos can call last season and took a nice 8 point that was racing after does with his nose to the ground. He came in like he was on a string and then I grunted at him at about 30 yards to stop him for the shot. The best way to test these calls, in my opinion, is to try them out on deer you have no plan on shooting. For example, I watched a nice buck come out of a draw below my stand on opening day. Problem was, his entire left main beam was broken off from a fight (he was also pretty roughed up looking). I wasn't going to shoot him and there was little light left in the day so I thought I would see how close I could get him to come in. I threw him a few bleats off the can and he picked his head right up and came right toward me. This was at the tail end of prime rut, but those things do work if used properly.
