I have hunted gators and never seen anything like this, have had people tell me they have ate there dogs..

however, gators do provide an extra challenge for Florida hunters. i have walked within a couple feet of a gator numerous times while walking to my treestand. gators and cotton mouths are not highly ranked on my scale of acceptable wildlife close encounters.
