Im frusterated.
Sunday is the 4th week in a row that I have not seen hide nor hair of a deer. I always see lots of deer on my land, and this year I dont know what has happen.

Pretty much the same here?
My land is in South Georgia and by this time in the hunting season there is at least 30-35 deer already taken from the club.
So far only 11. It has been very windy and rainy. Hope the luck turns soon I would like to put some meat in the fridge.

Me and my boy have three in the freezer . have seen hundreds of deer but only one buck good enough, he's frozen!
this weekend gonna start thinning does . take at least three.
Not a bad year.

Got my one buck in the freezer but the deer movement has been slow lately . I will probably try to take a doe or two out this week or next before we have our big sausage making and butchering.

Here's what's happening here with low deer sightings.
This is week 2 of the PA general season. Almost everyone is back to work or school, almost no pressure on the deer but they are staying nocturnal moving at night unless jumped from their beds. I'm finding new tracks in the snow from the night before just behind my house, as they stay within the 150 yard safety zone areas. Lots of tracks this week where they have been moving between the houses to cross the road into safer areas. So I know that there are still plenty of deer around, they are just laying low 'til the pressure is off for a while.
