Here's what's happening here with low deer sightings.

This is week 2 of the PA general season. Almost everyone is back to work or school, almost no pressure on the deer but they are staying nocturnal moving at night unless jumped from their beds. I'm finding new tracks in the snow from the night before just behind my house, as they stay within the 150 yard safety zone areas. Lots of tracks this week where they have been moving between the houses to cross the road into safer areas. So I know that there are still plenty of deer around, they are just laying low 'til the pressure is off for a while.
