There is more game wounded at less than 200 yds than over 500,
Well I'm gonna venture a guess at why that is. Could it be because 99 percent of the deer shot in this country are shot at less than 200 yards. Just a tad more opportunities for something to go wrong there huh? On a per-capita basis however I bet more misses and woundings occur at longer ranges.

To you die-hard bow hunters out there?? There is a beautiful axis buck running around a few miles from us with an arrow sticking out of his neck. I don't hunt with a bow, but I understand that the maximum ethical shot is around 50 yards give or take?? Wonder what happened there?
Couldn't say. And not knowing the circumstances of it I fail to see the relevance. If it's due to some yahoo taking a 90 yard shot with a bow then I'd simply say it means there are irresponcible goobers out there with every type of weapon in their hands. Doesn't affect my opinion on the topic at hand.

LOL! I know. Isn't it wonderful how easy it is to be great on the internet? Here let me show you.

See this deer?

I shot him at 5246 yards. I actually had to take into consideration the effects of lunar gravity on my bullet as I aimed my rifle. Of course it ws not a real challenge to me because I'm so great. In fact I can consistently hit a thimble at 5000 yards. Actually if you set a thimble cup side up I can actually land a bullet in the thimble at 5000 yards. It's not that hard if you practice like I do. Don't be hating just because you don't possess my skills and are so far beneath me that you probably shouldn't be allowed to wash my jock strap. In fact long range shooting is nothing, this one time I was in Africa being charged by a cape buffalo. Well all I had was a trash can lid and a bobby pin when............. Hang on someones at the door. .................................................. ...................
Okay, I'm back. That was a delegation from the town council at the door. They held a vote and decided that sinceI am so great they want to make a bronze casting of my privates and put it on display in the local park. Of course I had to decline as a bronze casting of that size could easily tip over and crush a small child.

See how easy it is.

You know i wouldnt have that much problem with them shooting animals at that distance but the thing that really tees me off it look at how they are set up, table, gun rest camera's hell they werent hunting they were just being extremely lazy and in my eyes unethical, hell give me a table and a gun rest and every animal i see i will be able to hit especailly if i practice at long ranges like they have, thats just stupid in my eyes, now if he could do that out in the bush with lets say just a tripod then hey good shooting.

If you want to relate it to a movie lets pick one that fits like,

"Quigley Down Under"

I still don'tthink there is enough info on those clips to call these guys or other long range hunters "unethical",but everybody has an opinion I guess and since I've already stated mine I will go lurk on some other threads.
