Skin the hide off with a knife then boil or soak the skull in bleach to finish removing tissue.If you really want to mount horns you will have to use an animal with horns as deer have antlers.

I am not trying to be mean or anything. I just feel you need to know the right termlogy. First off cows have horns not deer. They have antlers. You can look in must hunting books they will tell you how to do it the right way. Good job on getting a deer. I have been very unlucky this year so far.
