i read all these post about deerguns 270 7mm-08 30-06 30-30 and the 243 but most people say that the243 is to small andstuff what about the 243 wssm itfaster more muzzle energy but no one eversays any thain about it

It seems to me that the short mags were developed to make more sales of firearms and ammunition. I don't see the need, but get one if you want, but cartridge selection and availability may be limited in some areas. They are expensive also. The plain .243 is plenty of rifle to bring down any deer in north america with proper shot placement.
