It looked impressive.

So do you think the 243 Wssm would be good for Whitetail Deer ?

Probably kills them just as dead as the regular. I haven't shot the .243WSSM, but the 25WSSM is nice.

It won't kill deer any deader than my .243...Plus...the .243 Federal Premium 85gr BTHP
is faster than any deer loading in the .243 WSSM ...I tell my buddies I use a .243 mag...3320fps...So if a hunter wants more speed in a .243..he has it...if he doesn't care about speed...the .243 is plenty...If he wants more gun...get a 25-06, .270..7mm-08..
