wow guys, thanks for all the replies. i was refferring to just this season, but i like to hear any numbers at all. i have killed2 does and 2buton bucks (onethat i thought was a doe). i killed three last year and only the one doe this year in early ML season. it seems that the deer havent been moving really around here, atleaST In the mornings when i hunt. i hunt public land so of course that is always unpredictable, but i dont understand, maybe the hot weather has got them pinned down or something. heres a question: i thought deer would usually move in the same pattern every day (along same trail, roads, etC) unless they are forced to change that pattern due to fear, predators, etc. why is it that i will see deers one day in the morning in an area, but the next time i hunt there (within a day or two) i dont see them anymore. maybe they smell me, but i do take time in controlling my scent. i dont understand, or maybe the public land hunters infleunce them to take alternate routes. i mean i see sign everywhere, but i havent been seeing deer there. thanks guys for all the responses.

how many deer have you killed?


Several, with muzzleloader and this delightful Marlin 336. I'm not sayin' how many. Might get another tonight.

Early muzzle season: 9 point buck, two does and a button buck.
Archery: 10 point buck, two does.
Shotgun season: 12 point buck (hunted with my muzzleloader).
