I got 6 this year. 5 with a bow(4 does & a buck) and 1 doe with the shotgun.

I started out great

1 6pt with my bow
1 5pt blackpowder
1 7pt & 2 does with shotgun
2 with my rifle

But ever since two weeks ago I have slowed down, I missed a doe last weekend and blew a couple of oppurtunities within the past couple of weeks. I missed three in one day when I was having some technical difficulties with my blackpowder(just the primer going off). I have let several other deer go for various reasons this season but I still hope to have a little more luck before the season ends next Saturday. Deer movement has seemed to slow down a little and I have not been seeing as many in the evening as I was, I'm starting to wonder if they may be moving more during the day when it's warmer. If that is the case it sucks because I usually can only get out for a little while in the evening.

This year one big doe with a bow, one nice 8 pointer with a bow, one big hog with a .22 Hornet.
I have passed on a bunch of deer. Even passed a few axis does ( wish now I didnt)

Took 2...button buck and a nice doe.

Will be up in the Hill Country again this weekend on my inlaws property and hope to take a nice buck or doe again.

I should have killed 3 but I pulled a rookie mistake while bow hunting and I scared a doe off.

Are we talking only this year? Some people have told you how many they've killed in a lifetime. Anyways, in my two years of deer hunting, I have 3. Two does and an eight point. A doe and the buck with the muzzlleoader and the other doe with bow.
