YAll are going to call me an idiot...I say put it on his head and pull the trigger because if you hit him he's dead but if you miss your not going to criple him up and the buk has all year to calm down if you miss.

I done it before and shot a really nice 7 point in the eye with my 7mm SAUM.
Well you said it!! What if your bullettouched something, defelected and hit him in the jaw[]! Remember what you see in the scope isn't the same as the bulletpath fromthe bore

Like so many said before the right thing based on the evidence presented is wait for a better shot.

I must ask for those who then added to light of bullet or cal for the brush, if he had said a 3006 with 180 NP would have your answer changed?? If so why? You do know no such thing as a bush beater bullet or caliber don't you???

Weapon: 25-06, 110 grain Partition with scope.
Windage:5-10km wind
Distance: 150yds
Situation:Last day of the season for your mulie buck draw and you've got about an hour left in the day and your buck is standing behind all the bush. Do you hope he moves up a bit to give you a better shot or do you take shot where he is standing.Or do you pass on him all together.

Last day, I traveled a 1000 miles and spent over 1kto hunt mule deer.1 hour daylight.I don't know when I will be able to make it back to hunt mule deer again.I am goanna take a crack at it.150 yrds 25-06, I am goanna sit the cross hairs on it's nose and squeeze off. Got to try anyway.Don't want to think about not taking that shot and then wondering? What if I tried,As I traveled home. I wantno doubts in my head because I didn't try that shot.

How about thoughts in your head that you attempted a poor shot which resulted in a wounded but not found animal![] That'll last awhile. [:'(]

Well if he doesent know im there i would wait for a better shot and if he knows im there and its the last day of the hunt i think i would push ethics aside a little bite and try to take him and if you hit him not really well he has to get out of the was from the brush on the run and mulies tend to stop and look back about every time so you would be able to get another shot of most likely.
