Default Wisconsin's poor deer managment

I am a Wisconsin hunter, Bow/ gun. Our DNR keep on putting and giving out tags such as t Zone, Which is a bunch os city people coming down and shooting fawns, and nubbin bucks. The DNR over here just wants the $. They will be sorry when there is no more deer around. I saw an average of 4 deer a week for bow hunting. THATS BAD especially when I hunt on ariculture. My uncles. What do you thik of that? I could write about this for 20 pages but ......................

Brandon, many people on this board saw far less deer this year than in years past. From Brian Krostedt's response, it sounds as though the DNR is finding a way to repay the farmers for their wildlife-related losses with the $'s raised from the bonus tags. It also sounds like these free T-Zone tags would be a great way to introduce city kids to hunting and give them an interest in something other than finding trouble. Personally, I think that these tags should be offered to these kids first, and then to the specific landowners. A kid with a T-Zone tag could hunt on the land where the crop damage is occurring. Texas Parks & Wildlife issues antlerless tags and provides extended seasons to control population. Believe me, a state agency wouldn't do anything to risk losing their funding.

Brandon
I assume from your post your either illiterate or a youngster. Please try not to stereotype city folks as fawn slaying nubby whackers. I was born and raised in Milwaukee and yet have a very good understanding of QDM.
