TSR6 - Personally , I think you're full of something . I have a cousin who has been working for Walmart for years and loves her job . If you don't like WalMart , don't shop there . Don't eat fruits and vegetables from grocery stores as underpaid workers pick them . Don't forget to Boycott the farmers too !

Steve you are 100% correct.
Walmart low balls manufacturers and deals in volume. By supporting Walmart you are only supporting Walmart not the manufacturers involved.
Yes Walmart has fantastic prices but they are killing Americans in business.

Wal-Mart is very good. If you look at where the majority of their stores are located in the US, you will realize they are in the poorer towns and areas. This creates jobs and helps that areas economy. And Wal-Mart does pay higher wages, for the most part, that other stores and businesses around them.

i dont agree totally with yall wal-mart lovers or you haters. i shop at wal-mart especially for guns and hunting stuff. they are cheaper and of the same grade as anywhere else. i do not agree with how un american there products are though. manufacturing in the u.s. is becoming non-existent on most major products. find something in wal-mart made in the u.s. its may be a gun but thats about it. they are so cheap because they sell so much. they have the power to pay other companies what they want because they can sell so much for that company. i do miss the days when the items i was buying helped support an american family and put food on their table. wal-mart is joke on what they pay their employees. no health benfits is just wrong. its mostly single moms that work there and they havealso liveoff the welfare system to have enough money to live.food stamps and gov. health programs. i know i married a single mom that could not make it on wal-mart pay. thats just wrong if you have a job and you still cant even support your family

Screw them, here's a thought, don't get pregnant by some sleazy jerk that won't take care of his kids, get an education, work hard, and quit bleeding the already struggling welfare system because they're too lazy to work hard.
The fact is that without Wal-Mart the unemployment rate would be much higher than it already is so they do more good than bad…..

I started a thread several months back regarding Walmart vs pro shops when buying broadheads. I had a question about the quality because the performance and durability was very noticable. The walmart muzzy's broke or became burred after shooting a deer. I had never had that problem out of Muzzy's before.
Do I think Wal-mart squeezes companies to make cheaper products........yes! Here is another link regarding "Snapper" mowers that helped me make my decision. Enjoy!
"The Wal-Mart vice president responded with strategy and argument. Snapper is the sort of high-quality nameplate, like Levi Strauss, that Wal-Mart hopes can ultimately make it more Target-like. He suggested that Snapper find a lower-cost contract manufacturer. He suggested producing a separate, lesser-quality line with the Snapper nameplate just for Wal-Mart. Just like Levi did."

Ok, I guess next you're going to tell me that Bush controls the oil prices right? I don't really doubt that the US is going to hand over the world super power rights to China, but this is hardly going to signal the end of our economy.
What's going to drive this country to hell is stupid democrats that can't do anything for themselves and let the government control every aspect of their lives. All they do is vote for a living and say "What can the government do for me today?" They are too lazy to learn, too stupid to care, and then they cry about things like minimum wage which only does damage to employment rates because companies fire people to make up the difference.
The trade deficit is just a statistic that can be used in lots of different ways to make arguements. There's lies, d@mn lies, and statistics....

Well when you guys have a problem with your cheap guns you buy from Wallyworld,, and you take them too the local gun shop to be fixed.. The Gunsmith asks you where did you buy this?(and he already knows where it was bought from)and you tell him I bought it at Wallyworld because it was $30 cheaper than what you can sell it for....
I hope he tells you have a nice day, and go see if wallyworld will fix it for you!

How does Wally world do what do what they do. Simple.Being a former employee of the cheap buying,Sell for profit store. They send they managers out once a week to other stores in the area and see what their prices on items walmart sells also. They come back and lower their prices so YOU the buyer will come in and buy at walmart's price.Doesn't matter what it is.Be it be tires, oil, guns, treestands, anything.
As for walmart paying their employees. You are right about the cheap wages. You start at min.wage and get a .20 cent rise after 3 months. Then it will be a year before you see another rise then its only 45 cents.Their benefit package also stinks like last month's garbage. You pay out of your pocket most of the cost before they will pay a dime and most of your paycheck goes for they cost on health insurance.
Yeah you could buy a gun from walmart if you could still find one that sells gun and firearms in general.Walmart has buy the anti hunting groups and stopped selling guns in at least a 3rd of they stores and claimed it was due to lack of sales of firearms,B---S---.
Personally I 'll never set foot in a Walmart again.Because of cheap products,p--- poor customer services and I don't want to support a company that believes in profits first, the company 2nd and the consumer last.
