Just because they (China) owns 51% of US T bills, that does'nt mean that USA supports communism, or the Red Army....... "Wal-Mart is one of the great shining examples of what a market economy can achieve. If I were to give a tour of the United States to visitors from a socialist country, who are used to experiencing chronic shortages of almost everything, Wal-Mart would be one of the first places I would take them. It is a perfect symbol of one of the most remarkable things that we have — an enormous variety of high quality, low cost products that are available to virtually everyone throughout the United States."
You people really need get a grip...If you dont like Walmart and US policy on international fiscal matters, then you should move to another nation...good luck finding a deal on some underware or Jiffy Pop.

Wal-Mart is very good. If you look at where the majority of their stores are located in the US, you will realize they are in the poorer towns and areas. This creates jobs and helps that areas economy. And Wal-Mart does pay higher wages, for the most part, that other stores and businesses around them.
As far as guns, it is hard to beat the price that Wal-mart has for their guns. At a store in TN you can get a Rem. 710 w/scope for 299.00 or a CVA Kodiak for 154.00. Can't beat those prices.
As far as lower quality on the guns that is incorrect because the manufacturer would not want the liability if the gun malfunctioned and injured or killed some one. Most WM get their guns shipped to them either directly from the manufacturer or through and local distributer.

I have watched Walmart for twenty years now and their quality gets worse every year. There are 4 dollar stores in this town and they all are selling the same cheap worthless junk. They are being pushed out of Germany and loosing ground fast in Enland. Brokers say if they loose England, their stock is going to drop lika a rock. I think soon, only Canada, Mexico and the US will have Walmart. Many American cities are wanting them out and not wanting to issue building permits to them. Most of my life we didn't have Walmart and got along just fine with our American made Products. No doubt we could do the same again. If a service is needed and Walmart is not there, someone else will provide it and if their cost is to high, they won't survive. We are the people, Through Walmart that is Booming China's econmoy and adding truck loads of money to our debt to that nation. In the end we will pay the price for the money we think we are saving now. We are borrrowing from the future of our next generations. I hope they will find enough hours in a day to pay it back.

everybody loves walmart because its cheap. who cares what the effect of their great prices is on the economy!!. cheap crap at cheaper prices, woo!!!
Walmart builds a new store, undersells all the local business by buying in huge volumes from China. once the other stores go out of business, they slowly raise thier prices. Go ask mom and pop who are closing their business down the street about how great walmart is. These people sell quality american goods, and the profits go into the local economy. But they jsut cant compete with the china-mart. Walmart is a major corporation who defeats the competition based on volume alone.
I just can't justify supporting that, and thinking its the greatest store ever.

The company is run by and your buys directly supports China's ARMY.

And, anyone who thinks that Remington or Winchester or any other manufacturer runs off a second line of cheaply made guns to sell at Wal-Mart is a plain, simple, MORON. Good grief. Huge potential liabilities for the manufacturers. Huge costs to the manufacturers to run separate assembly lines. That is just stupid.

The company is run by China'sARMY??? Good grief. Either you are delusional, or, you don't know how to write a coherent sentence.
