I shoot 3 1/2 magnums out of my 12 gauge for turkey season but i doubt that compares to a 338. Im going to check at gun shop tomorrow and see if they have encores if there open tomorrow.

You don't have to go to an outfitter, you can just go on a WMA (Wildlife Management Area). The liscense only costs like $28.00. I think.
Since I am under 16, my liscense in Tennessee is only $8.00 for whitetails.

A good place to hunt Whitetail deer is anywhere in the Southern states, such as Alabama and Georgia,or any of the states that produce lots of edible crops, such as Nebraska, Minnesota,Indiana, or Kansas.

If you want to hunt both Witetail and Mule deer, than Texas is a good place.

Just use public huntingland, you don't need to hire an outfitter.

Any ranch that has exotics is probably not going to be cheap.

How did the topic get from Encores to cheap exotic hunts?
