This is my first season hunting and I can get a used bow for a good price. The late season in Ny is December 10th to the 19th, will hunting this time be good or will it be a waste. thanx

I'd say go for it!!! everyone laughed at me when they heard i was going to try it in the freezing cold. i saw more deer then i ever saw in the regular season. btw, hunt food sources.

just make sure that if and when you buy that bow, you make sure its perfect for those 9 days that you are out. it wouldnt be good if a nice buck walks by and your bow fails. practice a lot. good luck too!

and even if you buy it and dont get a buck for the late season, theres a whole archery season next year! and the year after that....... you get it
