Congrats to your daughter! And what a great Christmas present! I have a Ruger .243 that is one sweet shooting rifle. I hope she loves hers as much as I do mine.

Good job! Congratulations. My 13 yo son got his first this year. Now his 11 yo sister is wanting to go. She has had her hunter safety card since she was 9 and can shoot better than her brother (don't tell him I said that).

Tell her great job! and cudos to you for introducing her to hunting. Mine is six and already chomping at the bit to hunt. She goes in the woods with me but that doesn't cut it for her. . She wants the weapon!!

Very nice doe. Congrats to your daughter for making that shot, 230 yards is a long way for your first kill. And, what an awesome early Christmas present, hervery own Ruger .243.
