A doe coming in heat will make sure she is where a buck can find here. Many times she will be laying down in plain view near buck travel areas.
When she is standing she will sometimes lift her tail, not a full flag, like she is fanning something. When she catches her buck she will move somewhere more private, or secluded, but usually in the general area.
