I agree with fossil you have to think about the animal you are shooting you wouldnt want to shoot something like 300 yards away and just wound it you want a quick clean kill.

All the way out to the point of impact.

I have a Marlin 336 .30-.30 and I put my limit on shots at 150 yards with or without the leverevolution ammo. I had poor results with the leverrevolution amo (14" drop at 200 yards), thus went back to 150 grn fusion amo. I think that you will find many people who say the .30-.30 with traditional amo is a 150 yard and in rifle.
