4th times a charm, but need a little help
Alright fellow deer hunters, I have had three encounters with three different bucks, all of which were 8 point wall mounters, and havent even got a shot off yet and im feeling pretty confident that this is the year,
last year i sprayed down everything(i mean everything)that i would be wearing the next day and put it all in a garbage bag, i even sprayed my boots off that night, the next morning, and once while walking to my stand and when i got in my stand, i though i had played by all the rules and done everything right, long story short i am pretty sure that MY buck ended up smelling me out somehow, my question is how do most of you go about neutralizing your odor, should i consider a cover up over a neutralizer, anything that guys seem to think works would be appreciated, only good news is that i think i have seen last years 8 pointer, and well, hes even bigger, thanks

RE: 4th times a charm, but need a little help
I dont typically follow scents that much, but I can offer what I do know.
For starters, I am presuming your are hunting whitetails, because it seems not alot of yall hunt mulies. they are a VERY keen sense of smell. Most important thing to remember is to watch your wind. If you have strong wind in your face, theyw ont smell you and spook. Look into things such as scent lok clothing (not really necessary imho) and cover scents. What kind of garbage bag are you using? You should know that alotof garbage bags are treated with chemicals to deal with rotting garbage smell and crap like that. Finally, you coul consider over scents like doe estrus instead of just mask scents.
Hope I helped a little!
