should shot gun season in il be longer?

RE: should shot gun season in il be longer?
I didn't vote because none of the choices fit my answer, but I do have some thoughts...
I love my archery season, so I wouldn't want that shortened, but I'd be OK with extending gun sesaon later into January, unless there is a good reason that I'm not aware of.
I don't think I'd like all those gun days in a row. I think they are spread out so both methods get a fairly equal shot at taking advantage of the rut.
I do wish that the very heavily populated (with deer)public hunting areas that onlyallow does to be taken, Like Starved Rock, switch to a earn-a-buck format instead. Last time I checked, hardly anybody hunts out there for bow season. There are a TON of deer, but everybody wants a buck.
My two cents. Can I get change for that?
