From my experiences, the full moon does cause the deer to move more at night and less during the day. Whether this holds true anywhere besides where I hunt, I don't know. As has already been said, the moon phases do affect all living things, so there has to be some truth to it. You have to remember though, there are always exceptions to any rule. The best way to find out is to go out before, during, and after a full moon and see what the deer do where you are during those times.

deer will move all night on nights with a full moon and they are more likely to move midday. At the opposite (no moon) they will move early in the morning asnd late in the evening.

Hunting the moon isn't as difficult as it seems. The easiest way to "hunt the moon" is to be where the deer will be feeding when the moon is directly overhead or underfoot. These are the most active times for deer to feed.

If you are skeptical, go to the nearest cattle farm or horse farm when the moon is in either of these positions and they will be feeding.

Just the other night I was driving home and saw some cattle out feeding in their pasture. I thought "wonder if that moon is overhead" couple miles down the road I saw 3 deer out in a corn field feeding then saw 2 more a mile or two further. Soon as I turned and headed west, saw that moon right up in the middle of the sky.

This stuff really works.

If you use a Moultrie Game Camera, you can study the most active times by Time, Temperature and Moon Phase.

I wish now I had ordered The Moultrie instead of the Leafriver. Oh well, I understand Meteorology enough to figure it out!

I am constantly doing studies of wildlife and theirhabitat. The wildlife around my place and the animals I have raised in the last 40yrs on my place has taught me alot about their habits.

I don't know if any stock should be put into this moon phase thingor not, but to honest I do get more excited when the moon isn't out.
Now it seems to work for fishing.
When I lived in the Florida Keys the best time to go fishing was during tide movement and the moon controls that I think.
