RE: hunting the moon
Hunting the moon isn't as difficult as it seems. The easiest way to "hunt the moon" is to be where the deer will be feeding when the moon is directly overhead or underfoot. These are the most active times for deer to feed.
If you are skeptical, go to the nearest cattle farm or horse farm when the moon is in either of these positions and they will be feeding.
Just the other night I was driving home and saw some cattle out feeding in their pasture. I thought "wonder if that moon is overhead" couple miles down the road I saw 3 deer out in a corn field feeding then saw 2 more a mile or two further. Soon as I turned and headed west, saw that moon right up in the middle of the sky.
This stuff really works.
