Tips needed for starting a hunt club
#1
I want to get a hunt club going by next season and looking for some tips. I will probably start off small with just family and friends. Anything that might help out would be good.

We set up ours as an incorporated company with no income. (Although I don't think this was really necessary unless you have a lot of money tied up in a camp) Each member hasone share and we have one meeting a year at deer camp where we vote on various things. Last year we voted to havea $10 fine to members who shoot bucks and don't bring back the nuts. It's really easygoing and not too serious at all. As a group we determine how much money we want to put in each year for camp improvements and so on. Last year was our highest year and we paid $200 each for the year.

"Bring back the nuts"? What do you mean by that? I don't understand.

Actually COOKED deer nuts taste pretty good, took me a couple years before I would try them. I still can't seem to get past what they are while putting them in my mouth though.
One of the guys brought his girlfriend to deer camp last year and someone fried up some sliced heart and we told her it was deer @ssholes, she was a trooper and tried it anyway, funny as hell though....
