Snot smell???
All right, this probably affects almost all of us. When you're hunting in cold temp., and your nose begins to run, can deer smell that mucus more than normal? I usually wipe it on my gloves, but I've been thinking about this more now since I hunted w/ my bow 6 times during bow season and wasn't winded (at least not to my knowledge!) and since BP season, I've been winded 2 out of the 4 times I've hunted (that I know of! ) What do you all do?

Never thought about it, but I would guess if they are in position to smell your snot that they could smell the rest of you also. Carry a few kleenex or a couple of paper towels and at least your gloves will be cleaner.

If you were winded 2 out of 4 times, I dout that it was your snot that scared them. You may have the sent of detergent, some smell good stuff in your truck that got into your cloths on the ride to the lease or a number of different things. The wind may have just been in the wrong direction those 2 times. Next time, try a cover scent.
