Are undisturbed bucks predominently nocturnal or not?

Are undisturbed bucks predominently nocturnal or not?
I assume that bucks will somewhat move freely and rather comfortabley during the day time when not disturbed/frightened, but go more nocturnal if wary/disturbed. Sound about right, or not?

It's hard to make an answer since deer react as individuals to a given stimulus , some go nocturnal at the first whiff of human , others will graze right beside you while you're laying there asleep and snoring like a chainsaw . If pressured it's a safe bet that they will either avoid the area for awhile or go nocturnal , act accordingly .
