nocturnal bucks/does
man i hunt in michigan clare, michigan to be exact and i'm getting tons of pics of bucks and does but all at night i been out every weekend wince opening day and havent seen a thing, one of my cameras are set up on a scrape which 3 bucks are working right now and the other is set up over a bedding area, i used a true talkers buck grunt this weekend to try and pull them out but still had no luck.... what should i do with these nocturnal deer to give myself a chance. i also made a mock scrape yesterday near the scrape thats being worked by the 3 bucks i setup a day time dripper on it with some active scrape. don't know what else to do, next weekend i'll be goin up for gun, hopeing to have better luck.

oh ,,,,a long time ago i heard of a guy who would bate (stick to legal amounts) dig a hole to put the bate in uncover it during the day and cover it at night. with like a piece of wood or some thing...be careful you don't want to do too much messing around youll mess up your hunting. try it next year maybe...good luck..

How many other people are hunting the area? Surrounding area? Maybe alot of hunting pressure has sent them nocturnal.
How's the weather been where you are? (I don't see it under your name). Has it been warm?
Cooler weather and the upcoming rut should get them up and moving around...during daylight.
