How do you guys deal with the anticipation of a hunt? Mine starts tomorrow and I think that I'm going to explode waiting for it.
I've packed my gear and checked it about 20 times(probably 20 more before I go to bed) Made my lunch and recomfirmed plans with the hunting buddies. Man it's driving me nuts. I want to drive up there now and just sleep in my car until daylight(who am I kidding,I really don't think sleep is coming anytime soon)
Today I found out I got the next three days off from work. Man it's going to be a great season.
Sorry for the ramble. Good luck and put um on the ground.
P.S. I hope you guys werent expecting a poem

and all through the forest all the bucks and does got ready for season,
finding the best hideouts from all the hunters,
twas opening day...
and all the hunters got nestled in their treestands,
along comes a doe and is passed up,
then a buck,
the hunter nocks an arrow with a muzzy 100 gram,
and a crack of the arrow,
a double lung shot,
put down at 15 yards,
a nice sized one and the freezer is full,
until next time
good luck

'Twas the night before deer season and all through the camp
All the Hunters were restless and in need of a nap.
The rifles were scoped and cleaned with care,
in the hopes of a 30 pointer, caught unaware.
With Bud in his skivvies and fav camo cap,
perusing theGPS with a new ridgeline map,
And me in my realtree, I was wired real tight;
I could tell, once again, it was gonna be a long night.
Sorry....that's as far as I got!
