'Twas the night before deer season and all through the camp
All the Hunters were restless and in need of a nap.

The rifles were scoped and cleaned with care,
in the hopes of a 30 pointer, caught unaware.

With Bud in his skivvies and fav camo cap,
perusing theGPS with a new ridgeline map,

And me in my realtree, I was wired real tight;
I could tell, once again, it was gonna be a long night.
