Where do bucks bed at and where do does bed at. I hunt in the texas panhandle around lots of canyons and river beds. Everytime I think I have them figured out they come from the opposite direction. Do does bed in heavy brush or up on higher grounds. On windy days when the deer are not moving much would they bed down in bushy areas or canyons.

That is a rugged country down there. Sometimes I think I'm spoiled by the lush country of Ohio. I always went on the primus bed-high, feed-low. Windy days go to the transitional places like creeks and gullies. Sorry I can't give you a definative answer.

If it crawls it falls, if it flies it dies.
