Default Bedding area.

I have a few questions about bedding areas.

First,

Do deer use a specific area every day? Or do they use a few areas, and use the same area on the same days?

The next questions depend or the answer of this one.

Ok well, lets say there are bedding areas (A) (B) & (C), do they use area (A) on lets say Monday, area (B) on Tuesday, area (C) Wednesday, And so forth. Do they always use the same bedding area, on the same day of the week, or every (lets say there are 3 bedding areas) every 3 days? Or do they use which ever bedding area the is the most accessible at any given time?

I think it's WAY more random than that.....lol

Explain accessible. Do you mean "convenient"?

Put it this way. Lets say you have 3 bathrooms(bedding areas)in your house. One close to the kitchen, one by the bedroom, and the last in the basement. Normally you use whatever bathroom is most convient.....but if you want a little privacy you use the one in the basement.

In my humble opinion I think there is a variety of things that determine where a deer will bed. Weather conditions, time of year, time of day, food sources, hunting pressure and im sure about a million others.

I'm sure you're all right.

If it helps....the herd I hunt have a sanctuary of about 230 acres. At any given time......I'd say there's only 30 or so acres they might NOT use as a bedding area.

"Area" is relative. Some bedding areas here are 3-4 acres. Others are way bigger (20 or more).

I bet you have an arrow nocked and ready on your way to the stand for the evening hunts.

Predator ....Nope. I've only done that twice.

Now....I just go in earlier than I expect to see something.....and take my time doing that. I pack a stand in every time....so it's not so easy to still hunt like that.

PLUS.....I don't have access to that 230 acres I mentioned.I hunt the fringes of it on two sides (now).
