TopDawg your so right in both way's. This is the best time of year and you can't be too careful up in a tree. I have the HSS system and swear by it. Getting used to it was easyjust like the seatbelt in my truck after the law went into effect.A guy I know was very lucky last year when he fell and only broke his wrist. He missed the entire seasonfor bow hunting. I only hope he learned from it and will take advantage of a "second chance" in a safe way.

Very good post Mr. TOPDAWGWOOFWOOF
Safty is always a high priority in my book and once I start climbing up to my stand I have my safety lineyard on and I use it all the way up to my stand.
I read your news article and I couldn't agree more , it just makes good common sense to always use some type of safety device on the way up as well as on the way down.
Thank you for reminding us and may you have a safe and successful season.
