I use the Kestrel 4100, mainly when I am at the range to find the windspeed and direction, but will use it hunting.

I'm like wind walker ,you can't beat a bic lighter I have been using one for 20 years.

I learned from a sailboat owner in Minnesota to use your ears. So thats what I do.

A couple years ago on rifle opener here in Minnesota, it was -20 F. It wasn't hard at all to figure out which way the breeze was coming from.
