Just put it in a feeder or scatter it on the ground if you don't have a feeder. Right now if you live in an area where there is a good crop of acorns they ain't going to go for the corn much at all.

If it's legal to bait in your state you can pretty much do whatever you want with it. If you just pour it on the ground the deer seem to feel more comfortable with it. If you use a feeder, you can actually get a deer to come to a scheduled time somewhat. Don't get your hopes up for consistant traffic. Other animals will enjoy the corn and often the deer won't come in till after dark. It's still makes your hunts fun just seeing game.

i'm sure this is a question you are wanting a texan to answer. first, you might find an area where there is deer activity. the next thing you need to establish is your shooting lane. as said above, if your hunting an area with alot of acorns you may not get as much activity until the acorns drop and sour. but, even w/ acorns to contend with the deer corn will draw some attention.

I just sprinkle it out on the ground, and make them eat it all before I put any more out. MAKE SURE IT IS LEGAL TO HUNT OVER BAIT BEFORE YOU PUT CORN OUT AND HUNT OVER IT, YOU CAN GET IN SERIOUS TROUBLE FOR ILLEGALY HUNTING OVER BAIT!!!
