Okay, so i took a look at an aerial view of the most heavily (over) populated areas near my city.
Ive got a river bend here, with some cover, and a nearby feild. Theres not much topography here, everythings pretty much flat. Do you think this would be a good place to go knock on doors, and see if id be welcome to hunt for deer on their property?
I outlined where I would be looking for them with bright green

River bottoms that provide the only cover and are near ag crops are almost always good producing spots , get permission and start scouting the sign as soon as possible . It's a good bet that deer are bedding there too . Key on the bottom itself , and any ditches , creeks , or other low areas leading into the bottom from the fields . On open terrain deer will always choose the route that conceals them the best . When you seek permission be sure to emphasize crop damage to the landowner and your willingness to help alleviate the problem , if he and his buddies have that chore removed so that they can spend that time more productively(poker
) you have a decent chance .
