$500 won't even be close to a hunt in Ontario.

I think your best bet for the money is to place some ads looking to rent out a hunt camp for a week and do your own hunt. With a non-resident tag,gas for travel, camp fees and food you should be good to go.
Take a camper along for the trip and really rough it on some crown land.
You shouldent have a real hard time finding a spot for the second week,as most hunters have already tagged out.Besides you are looking at a better time to be in the woods in the middle of november during the rut.
You have the option to archery hunt ?
I dont think you will find a guided hunt with lodging for $500 though.
Good luck

A single non-restag is $180 Can. up here in Ontario. With our gas prices and a fee to even get your gun across the border you would have a tough time on only $500.

You could look in an ONtario out ofdoors magazine and look in the back classifieds for a spot. Not likely you will find a spot for 500 total but you may find something reasonable. If you don't want guides, I try to find some good crown or an area were farmers want to get rid of deer. Sleep in a tent, trailer, oreven rent a motelroom. For a bow hunt last year 4 of us shared a room and it worked out to $20 each a night. Good luck!
