Yes it is. I will use it on the bottom of my boots when walking into my stand area. So far so good.
I know other hunter use it to cover thier sents when the releive them selves.

I think no scent is the best scent. I watch and play the wind. Sure it may mask for a period, but I find it hard to believe it will last or do everything. What about breath, sweat...plain old hunter vs hunted?
I also believe anytime you use a cover other than earth, etc you may draw attention. I may be shooting blanks though??
What I do is is neutralize odours by washing in Arm & Hammer no scent detergent. Hang dry. I then place my hunting wear in a sealed container with materials from the field (earth, leaves, branches). It has worked well in the past and continues too.
