golf ball skinning
ever skin a deer with a golf ball? well i have, and i promise you that it works. hang the deer by its head instead of its back legs. cut the hide around the neck and skin down far enough to where you can get a golf ball underneath the hide. drape the hide over the golf ball and tie it. attach the other end of the rope to a truck or 4 wheeler and pull. the hide will come off easily and the meat will not stick to the skin. finish cutting the legs and head just as you would skinning any other way. this is quick and there is little or no hair on the meat. try it sometime. it works.

THIS IS SMITTY03. BILL IS RIGHT. TIE THE CAPE AROUND THE GOLF BALL. IT WILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE A BLOW POP. THE GOLF BALL IN UNDERNEATH THE CAPE AND YOU TIE THE BOTTOM SHUT SO THAT THE GOLF BALL DOES NOT SLIP OUT. IT GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO PULL ON. WHAT I MEAN BY BLOW POP IS THAT THE GOLF BALL WOULD BE THE GUM AND THE CANDY PART WOULD BE THE CAPE. WRITE BACK AGAIN IF YOU DON'T GET THE PICTURE AND I WILL TRY MY BEST TO EXPAIN IT AGAIN.

this works great! we've been doing it for a few years
also you can use a blow torch on a very low setting after you get it skinned
just take the torch and slowly go over the carcass while its hanging, the flame will burn off the hair but it isnt hott long enough to do any damage or cooking to the meat
