Bill is right on Joel. Use doe estrus only around the time of the rut. Say.....2 weeks before and on thru the rut. Reg. doe urine can be used year round. When the bucks are really rutting and looking for a doe, estrus can drive bucks wild!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I have a question, how do you know or the manufacturer know they have doe in estrus vs. doe pee? I have read how they collect it and really can't see how they can be 100% sure they have estrus vs plain old pee. Maybe they add a synthetic or something? Can anybody address or answer this for me? I am a little sceptical that their is a difference other than an additive. If an additive is used, what is it or who (brand name has the best formula)? To me many of them smell like licorce. Am I crazy?
What would be the real benefit to using doe pee? (as a cover or mask, not on you but to try and conceal a hunter) I can see estrus, as the bucks are looking for love in rut, but plain old pee?
Maybe this is why some swear by it and other swear at it!!!
