only state in the country with a declining deer heard
and then you say

currently one of three "National" whitetail programs in America

DUH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cause your deer heard is going away. you need a better program !!!!. this concept is too simple to even try to explain

You know im sitting here thinking about just how stupid this topic is.
Florida has become an innovative state.
when things are broken is when people become innovative, how does this in anyway support TDWW's on going opinion that florida has the best deer.
Florida has a dying deer heard. That is sad to here, i hope they pull through and their new innovations help this problem.

I could say that arkansas has great deer better than anyone else and arkansas has put a 3 point rule into effect.
How stupid is that, states do not put a 3 point rule in because they have too many bucks.
or CONSTANT OVERSIZED ANTLERS (sorry this comment tickled me )
States do not spend the money to get innovative about anything unless it seriously needs to be fixed.
The topic of this thread declares the reason why you never here anyone say I JUST BOUGHT WHITETAIL HUNT IN FLORIDA or IM SAVING MONEY TO GO HUNT DEER IN FLORIDA.

So TDWW why did you post a thread and in the subject completly contradict everything you were to type in the message. This was not a very well thought out plan for your pursuit to make everyone believe that florida hosts the finest whitetail.

I have enjoyed reading all of the intelligent responses on the thread. I understand some of you have a negative opinion about the state of Florida and that is certainly your perogative.
Not one person here has a negative opinion on the state of Florida, just you.

But I was just touching on whitetails b/c that is my passion and my reason for living.
If whitetails are your reason for living, that is quite sad and pathetic. Their is so much more to life than deer.

FloridawhitetailsSELECT specific forageneeds inour woodsdown hereand you do not have it in other areas across the country. THAT is the key, guys, the ability to basically go ANYWHERE across America and find deer that want to come to FL.
Find deer that want to go to Florida? BS, deer can't think on that level, and I'm not sure you can either.

- The state of FLhas a better program, currently one of three "National" whitetail programs in America
So, what are the three national whitetail programs in America? Because that just sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me.

- You will not findfiner men than Southern hunters. Character.Scholarly.
BS. I'm sure their are plenty of fine men in the south. Just like in the east, west, and north.

-Florida is a better example of academia, studying the elusive whitetail and thirsting for knowledge
BS plain and simple.

- The turmoilin Yankee territorywithtumors, and diseasewill only continue. EG: CWD
Hey genious, those are not only "yankee" disesaes. CWD originated from out west. Tumors are found ALL over the USA.

I called it.That is just being as honest as possible.
I'll call it. You have a very myopic view. And I'll be honest with you. You keep referring to the north as "yankee", guess what scholar, the civil war ended over 100 years ago, and we won. I think it is time that you get over it, and drop it once and for all.

I think he is quite funny and those who bash him show their lack of humor. Besides with his 16 inch hammers (aka Guns) he should be given respect. Keep em comming TopDawg.

Now c'mon LR1000. Not true.
Just the other day I was scouting for turkey and I overheard 2 deer talking about how thay wanted to move to N FL and get out of WV. I tried to talk them out of it but they had made up their minds.

Now that you mention it, our deer herd has seemed to vanish. I thought they just moved over to the next area with water. Maybe they actually packed up, and hitched a ride down south.

Lack of humor? Their is no humor in his posts, just ignorance. And as far as his 16" hammers, it is probably only on one side from over use.

You only get respect when you show respect.

Remember from one of his other posts, those are 16" in diameter! That's a little over 50" in circumference! Now those are some guns, respect!

He comes and goes in 3 or 4 day increments. My guess is split custody without a puter at his moms.
