Deer Decoys

RE: Deer Decoys
My Dad had a Redi-Doe which really looks like a dear compared to the McKenzie. He never had the action with his like I did with mine. The pictures are from a Bear attack. This was the first time it happened. Look at the neck. You can see where the bear did a swat and busted the head-neck off the column its attached too. Look at the back leg you can see the jaw marks. The rest is just a chewed up mess. With alot of claw marks. He didn'tknock itover, it stayed staked in the ground. A few years later it was hit again this time the bear knocked the replacementtarget cores out knocked it over andtook the head about 70 yards then dropped it. I wrote McKenzie and they thanked me for the picture and sent me a new target.

RE: Deer Decoys
I watched a nubbin come to my Mckenzie with its tail up and in a cupped position. He was walking kind of sideways. It reminded me of a dog when they run, "dog trackin". It was neat to see. I don't know if he was thinking that the decoy was a threat or was going to make a move to breed. I didn't have the antlers on the decoy.
