It is not always easy to tell the difference when they arent spotted. I often see fallows when I drive, but to be sure of which deer it is, isnot easy if one does not see a whole herd.

The shooting part is a bit ambarrassing because I misread the first hit and gave the deer a second barrel of shots at quartering away angle. The weapon is a O/U Browning GTI and the shots were 1 1/4 Oz Rottweils in US3.

My tip to hunting roe in Europeis to go to former eastern block. Baltic states or Poland would be nearest to me and Ive had friends go there and have only heard good things. They have large forrests and not a lot of hunting pressure. They are members in the EU and are striving hard to make their market economies going.They try to accomodate but does not always know what westerners want.Americans are popular and isnt Poland evena NATO member? Or almost at least?
Im thinking of going boar hunting there.
