have you ever gone to your stand and have had something happen to it over night or have the tree fall over that you had your stand in?

I've never had anything happen while the stand was in there, but I take all my stands down during the off-season. This year I went to hang 2 of my stands in their usual spots, and the trees had fell over.

i put a homemade ladder stand in a swamp in fl one time about 4 weeks before the season and i got into it before light when the sun came up there was a nest of hornets under the seat [:@]as far as i know that stand is still in the woods
